Keith’s Weekly Notes 10/03/2022

London Leadership & Lifelong Learning Academy very receptive to The Learning Hub https://learninghub.leadershipacademy.nhs.uk/  Monthly meetings planned to promote via The London Leadership Academy https://london.leadershipacademy.nhs.uk/ website and newsletter. Certification will also be a valuable resource for the end users of The Learning Hub https://learninghub.leadershipacademy.nhs.uk/ at a Regional level. Contribution as a Nye Bevan Staff Representative for the 2020/2021 Annual report.  Digital Sprint on Jira is invaluable tool. Continued relationship building with digital team colleagues – across Content, Development and Support – aiding my learning and my understanding of the digital space. Connected with Management Information Systems colleagues to collaborate better on data and creating a data strategy. Finding as part of my self study that jquery is considerably easier to understand than javascript. The structure of my self-learning course is starting to make a lot more sense with HTML leading into CSS, javascript and now jquery. Markdown through the Visual Studio IDE a lot easier to use and save than in Dillinger.  GMTS On-boarding module revisions to content making considerable progress. Value the digital team meetings that are in place.

A very fulfilling week of learning and supporting and development of others and giving back. I was able to tell my story to two cohorts on the Nye Bevan Programme – Knowing Yourself and Others.  It was humbling to be able to contribute as colleagues started on their course of learning. The GMTS Onboarding module in a virtual campus is progressing well. Produced a themes and considerations from the Future Academy, Digital Strategy, Vision session. Relationship building and management with new colleagues. Web Developer Course going well with HTML, CSS and Javacsript modules now completed. jQuery the new challenge ahead. As part of my personal development spent time virtually with my coach. 

Keith’s Weekly Notes 24/02/2022

A couple of late nights and early starts, that presented a  week of learning opportunities with the digital team.  I have been able to cover for a colleague on annual leave to progress the Atos and Meganexus work streams.  With progress being made on the key achievements and deliverables. I’ve spent time with digital colleagues to share and learn from each other. Produced a first draft of a digital strategy for a wider discussion. Contributed to the WordPress session to produce a site for the Annual Review.  Had a very fruitful and rewarding Appraisal. Contributed to how a certification system would add value to our end users accessing our offers. Reviewed the content and flow of the on-boarding module. Considerations after this week around:  How many systems do we have?  What would a discovery piece look like for a GENI replacement?  How can our data best be stored on the  Collaboration Drives? Harmonisation of our websites.
